Ecosystem Conservation and Management

Welcome to the Takashina Lab at the University of Tokyo. We conduct quantitative research on various social-ecological systems with the aim of understanding methods for balancing ecosystem management/conservation and human activities from an interdisciplinary perspective. Currently, we are trying to understand effective ways to establish protected areas and sustainable management of fishery resources. We also conduct ecological studies. 当研究室は東京大学大学院国際協力学専攻に属し，生態学を中心とする学際的視点から人間活動と生態系保全・管理を両立させる方法論を確立するため，多様な社会生態システムの研究を行っています。特に保護区の効果的導入手法，持続的水産資源管理，生態学研究などに取り組んでいます。進学などに関してはこちらをご覧ください。
